Over 25 classic hits and breathtaking performances
The story is set in 1992. It follows the behind-the-scenes story of how Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous World Tour” took shape. The story unfolds from the perspective of an MTV journalist who was granted special access to the rehearsals. It highlights not only his hit songs and dances but also the creative process and his interactions with colleagues, offering a glimpse into his complex life.
The show features over 25 of his most iconic songs, including “Beat It,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Man in the Mirror,” and “Thriller.” Although performed in English, Japanese subtitles (for dialogue only) are provided, so even those who aren’t fluent in English can enjoy the show.

This production has previously been staged on Broadway in New York, in London’s West End, in Hamburg, on a U.S. tour, and throughout Australia, and has been seen by more than 8 million people worldwide.
The show won four Tony Awards, with director and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon, OBE, taking home the award for Best Choreography. The book was written by Lynn Nottage, a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner for *Ruined* and *Sweat*.
