Tips for Creating Long Vacations in 2027
Golden Week, the longest vacation period of 2027 , begins on Thursday, April 29—Showa Day. If you take Friday, April 30 off, you’ll have a seven-day weekend that runs through Wednesday, May 5.
Also, there are two opportunities in February to create a four-day weekend by using paid time off.
If you take the day after National Foundation Day (Thursday, February 11) and the day before the Emperor’s Birthday (Tuesday, February 23) off, you’ll have a four-day weekend in both cases.
