A collaboration event between Ginza Sony Park and “National Treasure,” a movie released in June 2025 that continues to be a long-running hit, will begin on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
View the world of “National Treasure” in a 3D acoustic space
The film “National Treasure” broke the domestic box office record for the first time in 22 years, grossing over 17.87 billion yen at the box office. It was also selected as Japan’s representative film for the 98th Academy Awards International Feature Film Awards.
On the second basement floor of Ginza Sony Park, the venue for this exhibition, photographs of famous scenes from the film are on display. Visitors can contemplate the performances of the actors who color the world of the film, including the memorable scene between the main character Kikuo Tachibana (Toichiro Hanai), played by Ryo Yoshizawa, and Shunsuke Ogaki (Hanaya Hanai), played by Ryusei Yokohama, regarding the succession of the Tambaya family.
On the third floor, visitors can enjoy the theme song “Luminance,” composed by Marihiko Hara, who was in charge of the music for the film, with lyrics by Miu Sakamoto, and sung by Osamu Iguchi of King Gnu, in a space using Sony’s high-definition LED display and 3D sound technology, along with the full-length movie.
A special exhibition “5/513 Ryo Yoshizawa✕ Shunya Arai” will be held on the 4th floor at the same time. Photographer Shunya Arai closely observed and photographed Ryo Yoshizawa during the 513 days he spent preparing and filming “Kokuho”, and has compiled a selection of his photographs for this exhibition. This exhibition requires an admission ticket.
