“Kon-Matsuri” was first held in April 2025 and attracted approximately 10,000 visitors over three days.
Centered around “Japanese spirits” such as sake, shochu, craft sake, and craft gin , this event blends diverse elements including food, culture, and art to propose new charm and value.
Fun for everyone—whether you like alcohol or not, and for both adults and children alike.
Gateway Park, the outdoor plaza at Newoman Takanawa—the venue for “Kon-Matsuri Park”—will host a gathering of over 100 sake breweries.
The event features a wide range of sake, from long-established breweries to up-and-coming ones, as well as craft sake that has been gaining attention in recent years, and distilleries producing shochu and craft gin—a diverse array of producers from across the country will be participating.

In addition, a selection of carefully curated food items to enjoy with your drinks will be available.
A one-day-only portable kitchen from “Wolfgang’s Steakhouse,” as well as Uonuma-grown Koshihikari rice balls and sweet sake drinks from “Hakkaisan Sennen Kojiya,” and “Iroha-do,” a specialty shop for oyaki (stuffed buns) beloved in Shinshu, will also make a weekend-only appearance.

Inside Newoman Takanawa, special collaborative events with the shops will be held as part of the festival.
In addition to offering limited-time menus at the lounge & dining spot “LOOPS” and the all-day dining restaurant “The Public Place,” both located on the 28th floor of Newoman Takanawa LUFTBAUM, a workshop will be held where you can create your own original labels for sake bottles based on your own designs.
