The popular series Puzzle Adventure is being held in Asakusa and Yokohama right now, and it’s the ideal day out! All you need to solve the mystery is your wits. Why not go around the city while taking photos, solve the mysteries, and aim to clear the game?
Asakusa and Yokohama are dotted with so many attractions that you can’t see them all in one day, so you can end up overwhelmed by choice. What we’d recommend instead is the excellent Puzzle Adventure game, where you walk around the city and solve mysteries.
During your time in Asakusa, a bustling Tokyo neighborhood rich in Japanese history, you’ll follow a trail of puzzles through your camera lens to discover the culture, trends, and heritage of the city! Whereas in Yokohama, a quieter city away from Tokyo and situated by the bay, you’ll be able to venture into local alleyways and enjoy delicious street food while learning about the city’s unique history in your own way.
Participants will be guided to the next location by solving puzzles using real life clues and sending your answers to the game’s official web chat bot. Unravel the mysteries while taking photos of your favorite cityscapes, such as historic buildings, narrow alleys, and cozy retro coffee shops.
When all the mysteries are solved, you will surely become an expert in the city!
How to play
You can book in advance, or just decide to take part on the day. Head to either Asakusa or Yokohama, get your tickets via Fever, and you’ll be sent a ticket to your smartphone to collect a mystery solving kit.
When you’re ready, grab your game kit and your smartphone and head out for a walk around town! You’ll be walking a lot, so we recommend clothes that are easy to move in and minimal luggage.
There is no time limit, so enjoy solving puzzles and walking around while taking as many photos as you like, eating delicious food, and stopping by places of interest!
