The “Real Squid Game,” which started in New York in October 2024 and has been held in Madrid, Szongsdon, London, Sydney, and other cities, will finally land in Japan for the first time on Friday, January 16, 2026. After the renovation of the 3rd floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibu⾕ in Shibu⾕s Huklas, the game will be held on an entire floor.
An entertainment museum where visitors can experience all that the Squid Game has to offer
The Squid Game is the No. 1 global mega-hit series on Netflix, in which people who have almost given up on life due to huge debts or serious problems are drawn into a game in which they must win a huge prize to “turn their lives around,” and if they lose, they die instantly. The series is a survival thriller that has become a worldwide mega-hit and the No. 1 hit Netflix series in history.
The venue at Tokyu Plaza Shibusawa, which perfectly recreates the world of the drama, allows up to 20 people to scan their own faces to register as players and enjoy six games that appear in the series, including “Daruma-san Koronada,” “Tug of War,” and “Playing with Marbles.

There will also be a collaboration café where you can enjoy original menus, a photo zone where you can take commemorative photos with special frames, and “Yonghi’s Playground” where you can purchase goods from the “Squid Game” series, among other non-game contents.
Tickets with a special offer to get the “green jersey” worn by the player in the film and VIP tickets to enjoy the VIP room that actually appears in the film with a drink will also be available. Squid Game” Seasons 1-3 are available exclusively on Netflix.
