Madrid, New York, London, Paris, Barcelona…… concert events that have attracted more than 3 million people in cities around the world.Candlelight Concert finally landed in Tokyo in 2023.
The newly added Tokyo venue is the Umewaka Nohgaku Gakuin Hall in Higashi-Nakano. It has been used not only for Noh performances, but also in various other fields such as dance, theater, recitation, and classical concerts. At the Candlelight Concert, the sacred Noh stage space is illuminated by many candles.
On Saturday, January 7, two concerts of Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” will be presented, and on Sunday, January 8, one concert each of Ed Sheeran’s masterpieces and a medley of popular anime songs.
Candlelight Concert What is
The attraction that sets this event apart from other concert events is that, as the name suggests, visitors can enjoy listening to music in the light of more than 1,000 LED candles that envelop the venue.
The concerts have played not only classical music, but also jazz, soul, blues, and the latest pop music.
The performance time is approximately 60 minutes. The unique experience of relaxing and listening to classical music, even for those who are not familiar with classical music, has been well received around the world.
