His 2021 release “Yonaguni” takes its name from Yonaguni Island, the westernmost island of Japan’s Yaeyama archipelago. The music video begins with Bad Bunny drinking alone in what appears to be an izakaya. Midway through, a scene shows him getting a “Pokémon GO” tattoo.The finale shows Bad Bunny as an anime character walking under cherry blossoms, singing “Where are you?” in Japanese to conclude the video.

Born in 1994, Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican singer, rapper, actor, and wrestler. He debuted in 2016 with the single “Diles.” In 2018, his collaboration with Cardi B and J Balvin, “I Like It,” topped the Billboard Hot 100, and his 2020 solo album “YHLQMDLG” reached #2 in the US.
