Japan’s first spatial production by the hot design studio “COLLECTIVE

This year’s official exhibition, “DESIGNART GALLERY,” will be held at MEDIA DEPARTMENT TOKYO in Shibuya, Tokyo, and will be designed by the Hong Kong-based architectural design firm COLLECTECTIVE DESIGN, an internationally active firm specializing in architecture, interior design, and exhibition design, for each exhibition on the first and second floors. COLLECTIVE, an architectural design firm based in Hong Kong that specializes in architecture, interior design, and exhibition design.
In addition to founder Betty Ng, COLLECTIVE has team members in London, Madrid, and Perth, including directors who have held senior positions at Pritzker Prize-winning Rem Koolhaas/OMA and Herzog & de Meuron. While deeply rooted in Asia, the diverse team members’ international experience, global perspectives, and collaboration with partners from different disciplines have created a space that transcends conventional styles.

THE LIONS
This year, two years after the rebranding of the LIONS condominium brand in 2023, THE LIONS by DAIKYO Co. This year, two years after its rebranding, “THE LIONS” by DAIKYO Co., Ltd. developed a new project with architect Yuko Nagayama to create a new relationship between people. This project will be unveiled for the first time at DESIGNART TOKYO 2025.
LIXIL:“Spotted in the Random – Reconstruction of Spatial Components
LIXIL exhibited an installation exhibition titled “MUTO ni Motto – Reconstruction of Space Components” that explores new possibilities in the important but unexplored areas of space, such as floors, walls, and ceilings. As housing standards and values are diversifying at a dizzying pace, what people are seeking is not a rational form that is an extension of the past, but rather a more essential value. This exhibition is LIXIL’s attempt to ask a question and show a new direction in such a diverse age.
ZEN Solo Exhibition: UrbanEquivalence
ZEN, a world-renowned parkour athlete and artist, will exhibit his latest work, “Urban Equivalence. This exhibition features a new series of photographic works created in Los Angeles, U.S.A., following on the heels of his works in Bangkok and Paris, and is the first time these works have been shown in Japan. Eighteen works, including this year’s key visuals, will be exhibited and sold all at once.

The exhibition will feature 130 groups that pursue the “instinctive beauty” required at a turning point of the times.
