1, Nihonbashi Illumination 2024 (November 1-February 14)

Illumination will be held at important cultural properties and large complexes lining Chuo-dori Avenue in Nihonbashi, cherry blossom trees along Edo Sakura-dori Avenue, and commercial facilities such as Tokyo Midtown, etc. From November 1 to 3, “NIHONBASHI PUBLIC JAZZ” will be held simultaneously. 2, Tokyo Skytree Town® Dream Christmas 2024 (November 1 – December 25)

The entire Tokyo Skytree Town® will be illuminated with approximately 500,000 twinkling lights. The ” Staircase Graphical Lighting” will also make its first appearance in the town, lighting up the stairs of “Soramizaka” and “Hanamizaka” with LED graphical lighting.

3, 2024, 2024 NATSUKAWA ILLUMINATION, Namiki of Stars (Nov. 2 – Jan. 13)

The illumination event “2024 Weashikawa Illumination: Namiki of Stars” will be held for the first time. About 600,000 light bulbs will illuminate zelkova trees and roadside trees along Sun Sun Road, which stretches 550 m from Midorikawa-dori in front of Tachikawa Station to the north along the Tama Urban Monorail.

4, Tokyo Mega Illumination 2024-2025 (November 2 – January 12)
Held during the 53 days when horse races are not held, this illumination is a wintertime tradition at Oi Racecourse that can be enjoyed by families, dates, and friends. and “Japan’s Original Landscape” will be illuminated in tandem with music.

5, Roppongi Hills Christmas 2024 (November 7 – December 25)

Approximately 800,000 LED lights will illuminate the 400-meter-long Keyakizaka tree-lined avenue, and 66 Plaza will host “Luminous Bouquet,” a colorful illumination inspired by a shimmering bouquet of flowers. The annual “Christmas Market” in O-Yane Plaza will reproduce the atmosphere of an authentic German Christmas, and a “Christmas Tree” will appear in Mohri Garden and West Walk, creating a Christmas atmosphere throughout Roppongi Hills.

7, Hogwarts in the Snow (November 9 – January 5)
Hogwarts in the Snow, a special seasonal event, will be held in Japan for the first time. The event will recreate the Christmas scene from “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone,” the first film in the series, with eight 5-meter-high Christmas trees decorated with ornaments made using the same techniques used in the filming of the movie.

8, Baccarat ETERNAL LIGHTS-The Shape of Joy- (November 9-January 13)
Baccarat and Yebisu Garden Place, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will light up Yebisu with chandeliers every winter for the 25th time this year. The world’s largest chandelier, spinning a total of 250 lights, will be lit, and the 10-meter-long Christmas tree and the illumination of the promenade on the slope leading to the chandelier will be specially staged every 30 minutes. This year, the event will be expanded to two venues, including Chateau Square, and the Christmas marché will be held on the largest scale ever.

9, Futako Tamagawa Rise Christmas 2024 “Blooming Lights” (November 12 – December 25)

This year, under the theme of “Blooming Lights,” the entire Futako Tamagawa Rise will be illuminated with lighted flowers. Supervised by flower creator Emi Shinozaki, there will be a 10-meter-high Christmas tree decorated with Christmas rose motifs, illumination reminiscent of colorful flowers, and a skating rink where visitors can experience gliding through a flower garden on ice.

The concept for this year’s Tokyo Midtown Christmas is “Ensemblewrap – multiple layers of light, enveloping you. Centered around the popular annual tree illumination “Walkway of Light,” visitors can enjoy special effects such as fluffy drifting bubbles and snow falling for a limited time only. Inside the museum, there will be a Christmas marché and a playful Santa tree consisting of approximately 1,600 Santas. The ice skating rink can be enjoyed throughout the winter season.

11, HIBIYA Magic Time Illumination 2024 (November 14 – February 28)

The concept of this year’s Hibiya Magic Time Illumination, an illumination event to color Hibiya in winter, is “a magical moment. 2023 will see approximately 4.2 million visitors throughout the Hibiya area. The Hibiya Step Plaza will be illuminated in collaboration with “Moana and the Legend of the Sea 2,” featuring seven Christmas trees and a fantastical space with blue lights and ornaments, inspired by the beautiful and vast ocean that appears in the movie.

12, TOKYO SNOW DOME CITY (November 18 – February 28)

The theme of Tokyo Dome City’s illumination, which will be held for the 20th time this year, is “Snow Dome. Spots that represent snow domes and decorations that sparkle pure white like snow will create a fantastic space. The highlight of the illumination will be the giant 15-meter-high main tree decorated with 250,000 LED lights, which will be illuminated with light and white soap bubbles every 15 minutes starting at 5:00 p.m.

13, TOKYO TOWER Winter Fantasy ~Orange illumination 2024~ (November 15 – December 25)

The “Orange Garden” is inspired by the illumination of the Tokyo Tower, and at the center of the garden is a 10-meter high “Little Tokyo Tower” that resembles a Christmas tree. During the period, a sound and light lighting show will be held once every 15 minutes from 16:00 to 22:30 every day to the accompaniment of original background music.
