Under the theme of “A Christmas of Light and Snow,” the entire venue of this Christmas market will be wrapped in sparkling lights and snowy decorations. Santa and reindeer monuments imported from Germany, large 3-meter-long Eltz dolls, and authentic and luxurious huts (European-style huts) will be lined up in the largest scale ever, where visitors can enjoy hot wine, beer, and sweets, and a giant candy house will also make its first appearance.

2,Tokyo Christmas Market 2024 in Jingu Gaien (November 19 – December 25)
Since the first event was held in Hibiya Park in 2015, a 14-meter Christmas pyramid, the world’s tallest Christmas pyramid, the same height as the world’s oldest Christmas market in Dresden, Germany, has been installed as the symbol of the market. To commemorate its 10th anniversary, a new “Christmas Pyramid” was created based on the theme of “Grimm’s Fairy Tales,” a collection of folk tales from Germany and the surrounding area. The Christmas pyramid will feature tales such as “Sleeping Beauty,” “Little Red Riding Hood,” and “The Bremen Town Musicians.

Starting on November 7, the 400-meter-long Keyakizaka tree-lined avenue will be decorated with about 800,000 LED lights. In conjunction with this event, the Christmas Market at Roppongi Hills O-yane Plaza is also worth a visit. In addition to “Käthe Wolfert,” which sells traditional German Christmas items, there will be a total of 10 stores selling German food such as glühwein and sausages.

Continuing from last year, this Christmas market will be held in the central plaza of Azabudai Hills. After passing through the symbolic illuminated gate, a total of 17 stores, including 5 stores selling goods and 12 restaurants, will be lined up, as well as a fir tree decorated with 5 different types of lights that glow in different ways. In addition, the Central Walk leading from Kamiyacho Station Square to Tower Plaza will be decorated with Christmas photo spots and decorations as “Christmas Street.

5, Meguro Street Corner Heart & Art Christmas (December 6-8)
The open space of “STUDIO EASE,” a photography space that recreates an overseas cityscape, is transformed into a Christmas market, just a 2-minute walk from Meguro Station. This year, the main project is “Japonism” and focuses on Japanese culture and handicrafts of artisans. There are no trash cans at the venue, so visitors are encouraged to bring their own eco-friendly bags, cutlery, tumblers, etc.
