1, #Imahalo (Immersive Fort the Halloween) September 13 – November 30
This is the first Halloween event to be held at Immersive Fort Tokyo, an immersive theme park opening in Odaiba in 2024. In the daytime, a participatory “costume party” will be held, where guests in full costume can show off their fine appearance to a large crowd. At night, an immersive participatory story filled with mystery-solving elements unique to Immersive Fort Tokyo will unfold.

Halloween-specific stage shows, limited food, photo spots, etc. will be offered. There will be a show by the entertainment team “Hanayashiki Troupe” and a Halloween party where you can dance with cute monsters. Visitors are welcome to enter the park in costume.

4, Ukiyoe Yokai Yagyo 2024 (October 17 – October 31)
A special exhibition featuring the ukiyoe artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi’s yokai paintings will be held at Art Aquarium Museum GINZA. Specter paintings by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, a brilliant ukiyoe woodblock artist active in the Edo period, will appear in the popular “Lanternarium,” and 10 specter paintings will also be on special display in the “Ukiyoe Exhibition Area,” which displays Kuniyoshi’s goldfish-themed works.

This is an annual event held by volunteer members of the local community and businesses tomake Shinagawa a “hometown of pride” for children.The ceremony will be held on October 19 from 5:00 p.m. near the Takahama Canal Gotate Bridge, and the Sinahalo Festa will be held on October 26 from 10:50 a.m. at the Shinagawa Season Terrace Event Plaza.

A community-based, socially responsible Halloween event, this year marking the 13th time it has been held. In order to participate, participants need to purchase a participation certificate (for parents and children from age 0 to elementary/junior high school students). There will be exclusive benefits for participants, pledges for all participants, and achievement prizes if you visit all the stores in the course.

7, Futakotamagawa Halloween Party 2024 (October 26-27)
This Halloween event has been held since 2015 under the theme of “Halloween for parents and children to enjoy all day long. Ghosts will also appear at four facilities: Futako Tamagawa Rise Shopping Center, Futako Tamagawa Rise Dogwood Plaza, Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C., and Q Plaza Futako Tamagawa. The festival will feature a photo stamp rally, workshops, air play equipment, and other hands-on activities, as well as stage content.

8, Harajuku Omotesando Hello Halloween Pumpkin Parade 2024 (October 27)
Celebrating its 40th opening this year, this is the first Halloween costume parade in Japan. More than 1,000 children usually participate in the event every year, each in their own elaborate costume, and parade about 1 km along Omotesando in Harajuku. In addition, special Halloween menus are offered by cooperating stores in the Omotesando area, and candy is given to the children. The event is open to children under 12 years old (elementary school students) and their guardians.
