From Sanrio Puroland, which transforms into a Halloween wonderland, to community-based events, why not dress up as a family and enjoy Halloween to the fullest this year?
Now in its 42nd year, this event was Japan’s first Halloween costume parade. Every year, approximately 1,000 children participate, parading along a roughly 1-kilometer stretch of Harajuku Omotesando in creative, elaborate costumes. Additionally, a “Trick-or-Treat Rally” is held with the cooperation of shops in the Omotesando area.
PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE
Enjoy Halloween-exclusive shows and attractions, such as the 360-degree immersive live show “PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE PARTY,” “PUROMONSTERSCRAMBLE DJ TIME!,” and a horror-themed version of the “Sanrio Character Boat Ride.” Throughout the event period , you’ll be able to meet Sanrio characters dressed in Halloween costumes at various locations throughout the park.
This event is held annually by a group of volunteers made up of local residents and corporate representatives, with the goal of making Shinagawa a “source of pride” for children.At the “Shinagawa Halloween Collection 2026 Autumn” fashion show on Sunday, October 18, participants will walk down a special runway and strike poses for photographers. Those who wish to receive their photos will be sent them at a later date.
Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, this community-focused, socially conscious Halloween event features classic activities like visiting participating local shops and collecting candy by saying “Trick or treat!” On Sunday, October 25 , there will also be a special one-day-only event where children can walk down a red carpet in their favorite costumes.
A Halloween event jointly hosted by three facilities: Futako-Tamagawa Rise Shopping Center, Futako-Tamagawa Rise Dogwood Plaza, and Tamagawa Takashimaya S.C. In addition to a stamp rally and workshops, the event will feature “Halloween Kids Disco,” where the stage is transformed into a disco-style venue.
