“Pokémon Café TOKYO,” which opened in 2018 in the East Wing of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C., is the first permanent official Pokémon café in Pokémon history.
Nihonbashi is a place with deep ties to Pokémon Center, as the first Pokémon Center opened there in 1997; it is, so to speak, the birthplace of the brand.

The venue had been temporarily closed since March of this year, but its reopening has been set for Wednesday, June 17. In addition to food, sweets, and drinks featuring Pokémon characters, original merchandise such as plush toys and mugs will also be available for purchase.
Reservations for visits from Wednesday, June 17, 2026, to Tuesday, July 7, 2026, will be accepted on the official website starting at 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 17.
