Summer Sonic 2025 will be held again this year in Tokyo and Osaka. Tokyo will be held at ZOZO Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe on August 16 (Sat) and 17 (Sun), and only 1-day tickets are currently on sale (as of July 14).

Headlining the first day, August 16, is FALL OUT BOY, who will be making their first Summer Sonic appearance in four years, since 2019.
FALL OUT BOY is a rock band from Chicago, formed in 2001. Their best-known albums include “From Under the Cork Tree” (2005) and “Infinity on High” (2007).The band announced a hiatus in 2009 and resumed their activities in 2013, releasing “Save Rock and Roll”.

Alicia Keys, who has won 17 Grammy Awards and sold more than 65 million albums worldwide, will headline the August 17 event, which will also include a solo performance at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on Tuesday, August 19.

The lineup for Summer Sonic 2025 is now complete, with Mrs. GREEN APPLE announced on July 11.
In addition to this, FEID, the Latin star and headliner at Lollapalooza, one of the world’s largest music festivals, will recreate the festival inside the Beach Stage on August 17. He has chosen the artists himself to introduce Latin and reggaeton to Japan, and has even covered the expenses to make it happen.
Last year’s Tokyo venue was further improved in terms of heat countermeasures, with the addition of a rest area and water stations, the moving of merchandise and luggage storage areas indoors, and the sale of numbered tickets first thing in the morning to reduce waiting lines, which also greatly reduced the use of first aid rooms for heat stroke.
The four main stages are located in indoor venues, and free shuttle buses are available to move between those indoor and outdoor areas, allowing audiences to choose their own areas at their own pace year after year.
More information on fun side stages such as comedy, wrestling, and performance stages will be announced in the future.
