The Zushi Beach Film Festival, an annual GW event on the Zushi seaside, will be held again this year. A wide range of films will be screened, from masterpieces to documentaries, including original video works and films that are being shown for the first time on Japanese screens. The venue will be lined with tents and booths for all-day enjoyment, including a daily food court, a bazaar that is always busy, and a seaside merry-go-round for workshops where visitors can learn while feeling the sea breeze.

2, SEASIDE CINEMA 2025@Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, etc. (May 2 – May 6)
One of the largest cinema festivals in Japan, SEASIDE CINEMA 2025 offers a variety of film-themed experiences, including outdoor theaters, at five venues: Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, MARINE & WALK YOKOHAMA, Yokohama Bay Quarter, Yokohama World Porters, and Yokohama Hammerhead. This year marks the seventh time the festival has been held.

3, Night Picnic Cinema @ West Garden Welcome Gate (May 5)
Night Picnic Cinema”, where everyone can lay out sheets on the lawn and enjoy for free, will be held at Machida Yakushiike Park Shikisai-no Mori West Garden. On the day, the movie “Paddington” will be shown at 19:00. The cafe “44APARTMENT Yakushiike” in the park will also sell a limited menu for the event.

4, Japan Jam 2025 (April 29, May 3-May 5)
An outdoor music festival organized by Rocking On Japan, the same company behind the “Rock in Japan Festival” and “Countdown Japan. This year’s festival, the fourth of its kind, will bring together a diverse lineup of artists, including THE YELLOW MONKEY, ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, ikimono-gakari, Creepy Nuts, Sheep Literature, sumika, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, Saucy Dog, NiziU, and many more. 5, La Folle Journée TOKYO 2025 (May 3-5)
La Folle Journée, a classical music festival born in the western French port city of Nantes in 1995, landed in Tokyo in 2005 and has recorded a total of 9.04 million visitors by 2024. The festival is scheduled to feature 90 performances that can be enjoyed by everyone from children to classical music lovers.

1, Tokyo Tower Annual Spring Event: 333 Carp Streamers and Sanma Noboris (March 25-May 6)
Tokyo Tower Spring Festival will be held again this year. In honor of Tokyo Tower’s 333-meter height, 333 carp streamers will swim brightly. If you visit the site, look for the “Sanma Noboris” from Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, which has been sending a cheer for the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake since 2011, with only one fish in the mix.

2, “Movement of Flowers and Light” Toneri Stars Reflected in a Sea of Nemophila at Shonen Park (April 11 – 29)
This year’s “Flower and Light Movement” is a fusion of illumination and nemophila, the blue flowers in full bloom in the park, and this year’s “Toneri Blue,” the blue color shared by nemophila, sky and water, will be illuminated at night to highlight the toneri blue color. Kitchen cars will be open during the event.

3, YAESU BIG HOLIDAY 2025 – 11 days of fun for parents and children @ Tokyo Midtown Yaesu (April 26 – May 6)
An event for families to enjoy with their children. This year, the “BIG HOLIDAY Koinobori Kuguri,” a giant Koinobori (carp streamer) about 25 meters long, will be held at the Galleria again. The event will also feature a “BIG HOLIDAY Kids Workshop,” a learning space for children, a “BIG HOLIDAY Kids Play Park,” a limited-time playground, and a “BIG HOLIDAY Kids Music Square,” where children can experience live music, and many other contents that fuse learning and play.

A campfire experience event where you can enjoy a camping atmosphere by the poolside of the rooftop pool. 5, Animal Exhibition Who are we? Who are we? 〜WHO ARE WE? WHERE ARE WE GOING?
PLAY! MUSEUM and the National Museum of Nature and Science collaborate for the first time to present an animal-themed exhibition, “Animal Exhibition. 6, Design Ah Exhibition neo (April 18-September 23)
An exhibition that develops the concept of the NHK E-television program “Design Ah neo” into a hands-on experience will be held at TOKYO NODE GALLERY. This year’s exhibition, the third in the series, will present new works based on new themes, while maintaining the concept of allowing children to enjoy thinking and discovering various aspects of design.

1, Taiwan Festival in TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN® 2025 (April 5 – June 1)
This year will be the third time to hold this gourmet event themed “365 Days of Taiwan Night Market in Japan. This year’s theme is “365 Days of Taiwan Night Market in Japan. In addition to the standard Taiwanese gourmet foods, this year’s event will feature a collaboration menu with “Lehua Night Market” in New Taipei City, Taiwan, as well as “Taiwan Fresh Lemon Sour” using Taiwanese lemons. 2, Shimokitazawa Meat and Sweets Festival (April 17 – May 6)
A food event featuring meat and sweets, with 47 restaurants in Shimokitazawa participating. If you purchase a participation pass, you can use it for all days during the period, so the earlier you participate, the more you save. A stamp rally will also be held, with prizes awarded for the number of stamps collected.

3, Oktoberfest 2025 in Odaiba @ Symbol Promenade Park and Central Square
Oktoberfest, held annually in Munich, Germany, began as a festival in 1810, when many Munich citizens celebrated the wedding of then Crown Prince Ludwig and the Princess of Saxony. In Japan, it has been held in various places since 2003, while changing its name. It is a chance to enjoy authentic German beer and sausages under the blue sky, which are usually hard to find in other countries.

4, Craft Gyoza Fest TOKYO 2025 (April 25-May 6)
The Craft Gyoza Fest®, a classic Golden Week gourmet festival, will be held again this year. About 30 kinds of gyoza will be gathered at the Tokyo venue. Highlights include the special handmade yaki gyoza (grilled dumplings) that won a championship in a Chinese food competition at “Asian Kappo Shimbashi Rengetsu” and the lamb and cumin spiced gyoza from “Nakayoshi Gyoza Elizabeth,” a first-time entrant from Sapporo.

Frühlings Fest” is a seasonal festival held throughout Germany to celebrate the arrival of spring with close friends. In addition to booths where you can enjoy the authentic German atmosphere, the outdoor zone will feature BBQ and a kids zone.

6, Meat Fest 2025 TOKYO Steak King Championship (April 26-May 6)
The “Meat Fest”, which has led the meat boom and created one of the largest food entertainment events in Japan combining meat cuisine and entertainment, will be held in Odaiba. For this festival, a menu of delicious outdoor dishes and flavors will be developed, and seating for 3,000 people will be set up.
