This performance is a 30-minute, 360-degree immersive projection mapping show based on Vivaldi’s masterpiece, *The Four Seasons*. The entire venue—including the walls, ceiling, and columns—is transformed into a screen, creating a breathtaking spectacle where sound and light are perfectly synchronized.
The show consists of six acts. The first half depicts the cycle of nature as it shifts through “Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter,” while the fifth act expresses the cycle of life and suffering. Finally, in the last act, “Enlightenment,” dazzling light fills the space, leading to a climax enveloped in a sense of liberation.
Cultural Heritage × Cutting-Edge Digital Art
What sets this apart from other immersive experience venues is its location. Opened in 1936, the Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts (Main Building) is a historic structure notable for its whitewashed ceilings and stately columns. Overlaid upon this setting is cutting-edge digital art by the Swiss creative collective “PROJEKTIL,” creating a truly one-of-a-kind experience.
In addition to chairs, beanbag chairs are also available inside the venue. Since seating is unassigned, you can even lie down and enjoy the images spreading across the entire ceiling. Photography and video recording are permitted inside the venue.

The show runs five times a day, with each performance lasting about 30 minutes. One of its appeals is that it’s easy to drop by after work or before dinner, allowing you to casually experience a sense of escapism.
If you have the chance to visit Osaka, why not immerse yourself in this fantastical space where history and cutting-edge art converge?
