“Touyaku Jiraku” is an immersive entertainment experience that was held at Ikebukuro PARCO in April 2025, with all 1,135 performances sold out. This time, the venue has moved to PARCO_ya Ueno, where the story will unfold with a new cast.
A Tense and Immersive Experience
Participants step into the story as test subjects who applied for a clinical trial part-time job offering “high hourly wages, short shifts, and same-day pay.”
While walking through the open PARCO_ya Ueno facility alongside regular visitors, participants engage in one-on-one conversations with cast members playing doctors and staff, as a suspenseful story unfolds over approximately 90 minutes centered around an unidentified “medicine” that is offered to them.
The event features a multi-ending format where the story branches based on participants’ dialogue and decisions, allowing attendees to enjoy different storylines even if they participate multiple times. Each group consists of 2–4 people and enjoys a completely private experience; participants will not be seated with other groups.
Synopsis

Lured by the enticing pitch, you head to PARCO_ya Ueno.
After checking in, I was escorted to the “Clinical Trial Center.”
What was presented before my eyes was an unidentified “medicine.”
“Well then, please have a drink.”
From the moment you follow the doctor’s instructions, the world quietly begins to “shift.”
