From Thursday, January 29 to Sunday, February 1, “Oden de Hot Kettle Station” will be held on platform 3 of JR Ryogoku Station, also known as the “Phantom Platform”.
Enjoy hot kettle and oden while watching the trains go by.
The “Ode de hot kan Station” will be held for the first time in 2019. In a nostalgic atmosphere with red chochin hanging down on platform 3, which is normally inaccessible, visitors can enjoy oden and a wide variety of sake while sitting under a kotatsu.
The event is a 60-minute changeover. Ten sake breweries that have won prizes in the National Heated Sake Contest, the world’s largest and only contest specializing in heated sake, will be present each day. Sake tasters and sommeliers will be on hand, so even sake novices need not worry.
