Azabudai Hills opened on November 24, 2023. The “Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson TeamLab Borderless” (hereinafter referred to as “Epson TeamLab Borderless”) newly opened on February 9 (Fri.) in the “Garden Plaza” where commercial tenants are gathered.
Opened in June 2018 and closed on August 31, 2022, the Epson TeamLab Borderless in Odaiba has received more than 2.3 million visitors annually, of which approximately 50% are foreign visitors to Japan.
Visitors came from more than 160 countries and regions around the world, and the percentage of foreign visitors to Japan by country/region was as follows: the United States (1st), Australia (2nd), China (3rd), Thailand (4th), Canada (5th), and the United Kingdom (6th).
According to a survey conducted by TeamLab, approximately 50% of the foreigners who visited the museum came to Tokyo for the purpose of visiting the museum. Epson TeamLab Borderless” reopened at Azabudai Hills on February 9, 2024, with the addition of new works.
What are the new works that can be seen?
The evolved TeamLab Borderless is a ” museum without a map ” with artworks that have no boundaries.
Visitors can leave their rooms and move to other rooms, communicate with other artworks, be influenced by them, and mix with other artworks. Visitors can enjoy the experience of “wandering, exploring, and discovering in a world without boundaries” by immersing themselves in the boundary-less art.
