The 8th Tokyo International Art Fair will be held at Bellesalle Roppongi on November 28 and 29.
More than 100 artists from around the world, carefully selected on the basis of their ability, style, and originality, will exhibit their works in a variety of media and techniques, including painting, sculpture, photography, illustration, jewelry, and crafts, and visitors can purchase their favorite works on the spot.
Featured Booth Artists
Sakura Asset Investments (Dubai/Booth D02) will exhibit and sell works by world-renowned artists KAWS and Damien Hirst, as well as works by masters such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dalí. and Salvador Dalí.
IKONO Art Gallery (Booth B06, Japan) will exhibit and sell paintings by Minguet Laurent, Olivier Godat, Ousmane Bâ, and Marcestel. All are international artists known for their unique sensibility and color compositions, and the Japanese gallery will introduce a variety of styles.
The Charles Salley Gallery (Booth C04, USA) will showcase the work of artist Charles Salley, who has been creating art for almost 40 years.
With a deep interest in history and social issues, Charles Salley is known for expressing in a variety of media his perspective on “society and human existence” as it was shaped through the turbulent years of the 1950s and 1970s. His works, created using a wide range of techniques including lithography, watercolor, oil, acrylic, pen and ink, and charcoal, depict the timeless “state of all things.
Vividarc Gallery (Singapore/Booth D01) is an art management organization based in Singapore that discovers, supports, and manages international artists. The gallery focuses on promoting diverse artistic expressions to the world, and will be exhibiting works representing a new generation of artists such as Wu Runjia, Yuwen Tengyue, Yoon Dohee, and Real Lee.
The opening private view on the 28th (by invitation and ticket only) will include a music performance by DJ “Katsuya Everywhere”.
On the 29th, the “Sakura Art Prize” award ceremony, open to all visitors, will be held to honor one best artist and two runners-up.
