1, “Prism of the Times: Art Expression Born in Japan 1989-2010″ ( September 3-December 8 )
The National Art Center, Tokyo and “M+ Hong Kong” will collaborate for the first time to shed light on the diverse art expressions born in Japan from multiple perspectives, beginning with “Prologue,” which tells the story of the emergence of internationalization since the early 1980s, followed by “Introduction,” which presents the year 1989 as a turning point in the Japanese society at a major turning point, The “Introduction” section introduces the new critical expressions that emerged in 1989 as a turning point in Japanese society. 2, MEET YOUR ART FESTIVAL 2025 (October 10 – 13)
One of the largest art and culture festivals in Japan will be held again this year, with more than 100 up-and-coming artists participating in the entire festival. The art fair “MEET YOUR ARTISTS” will feature more than 300 works by 70 up-and-coming artists from Japan and abroad, and the market area “SUPER ART & CRAFT MARKET” will feature more than 80 carefully selected vendors from all over Japan, mainly in the fields of arts, crafts and food. 3, Tokyo Biennale 2025 (October 17 – December 14)
This biennial international art festival brings together a diverse range of artists and creators from Japan and abroad to deeply immerse themselves in the city of Tokyo and work together with local residents to create something new. The theme for the third edition of the festival is “Why don’t you take a walk with us? The area of the festival will include several facilities and public spaces in Chiyoda, Chuo, Bunkyo, and Taito wards. Visitors can enjoy exhibitions and events in six areas (free of charge), each with its own history and culture, centered around two base exhibition venues (fee required), the Etoile Kaito Living Hall and Toeizan Kan’eiji Temple.

4, T3 PHOTO FESTIVAL TOKYO (October 4 – October 27)
An outdoor international photography festival launched in 2020. The name “T3” is derived from the concept of the three T’s (Technology, Talent, and Tolerance) essential for urban prosperity advocated by the American sociologist Richard Florida in his book “Creative Capital. Continuing from last year, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, one of the main venues of the festival, will host a special exhibition featuring master American photographer Stephen Shore.

5, Candlelight Concert (November 9)
This is a regularly held concert where you can listen to music in the light of more than 1,000 LED candles that envelop the venue. The concerts have been held at venues around the world, playing not only classical music, but also jazz, soul, blues, and the latest pop music, and have been well received by people who are not familiar with music appreciation as a unique experience. The concert to be held will not only feature a live performance of Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece “The Nutcracker” by the quartet, but also a ballet viewing experience together.

Food festival to enjoy the fall season of appetite
1, Tokyo Ajiwai Festa 2025 (October 24-26)
An event to discover the various charms of “agriculture” and “food” by tasting and experiencing dishes using Tokyo-produced ingredients. Kitchen cars and tents will offer menus using Tokyo ingredients, booths will be set up to rediscover Tokyo’s local cuisine, and marche and PR booths will be set up to sell Tokyo agricultural products and specialty foods.

2, Tokyo Ramen Festa 2025 (October 24-November 4)
One of the largest ramen events in Japan, bringing together ramen from all over the country. Act 1 will feature 13 stores recommended by events and organizations from across the country, including some of Tokyo’s best stores that have regrettably closed, Act 2 will feature 15 popular ramen stores that will be making their first appearance at the event, and Act 3 will feature 15 ramen stores that have drawn huge crowds at ramen events across the country.

5, Yakimo Fest TOKYO 2025 (October 31-November 9)
Now in its fourth year, this food event has attracted more than 770,000 visitors in total. This year, 14 stores will offer about 30 kinds of menu items, and the sweet menu has been enhanced. 4, Setagaya Bread Festival ( November 1 and 2 )
This annual bread festival will be held for the 15th year this year.
